The Highland is the latest
addition to the range. It is designed to give poultry basic protection
from direct contact with wild birds and their droppings. The house and
run unit has a veranda-type run which is raised 15" from the
ground. The floor of the run is made from slatted sections which can be
removed for cleaning. The slats are suitably spaced for both bantams and
larger birds. The fully covered run has a weather protected feed area at
the end which can be accessed by a hinged roof section. There are two
versions of the Highland one suitable for 2 - 3 birds and a larger
version for 6 - 8 birds.
